Thule van den Dam (she/her)

Vice President

Thule van den Dam is a community worker interested in intersectional and just initiatives, and has 10+ years experience working in the climate justice sector as environmental educator, project manager, and policy analyst. She has worked in the arts in Canada, Italy, Belgium and the United States, and composes and performs in theatre. Her BA in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic concentrated in international environmental policy, political economy, critical theory, and theatre. She is passionate about the potential for restorative justice in the environmental and climate justice sector, and excited to be contributing her collaborative and interdisciplinary lens to the VARJ. In her free time, she can be found on the side of a mountain or making music. She lives on the unceded and traditional territories of the sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) nations.
