Restorative Justice in Schools

In Canada and around the world, schools are increasingly looking to restorative justice to support safe and caring school communities, and to address issues such as bullying, racism, and violence in all forms.

The Restorative Justice in Schools Project is focused on providing education to parents, teachers, students and administrators on the values, principles and practices of restorative justice. VARJ workshops offer participants of all ages and skill levels an opportunity to learn about restorative approaches to addressing conflict, and to develop essential skills in relationship-building, empathetic listening and compassionate communication. Workshops are tailored to the unique needs of each community and are led by passionate and experienced facilitators.
