Originally from Los Gatos, California, Hannah is a university student at the University of British Columbia; majoring in English with an emphasis in both literature and language. She began her interest in justice starting in high school, through the founding of her school’s Mock Trial program. She taught her fellow students the importance of thoughtful language coupled with empathetic understanding. Hannah has come to VARJ to further explore alternatives to standard justice systems and to increase linguistic connectivity amongst communities.
